The tote bag is handcrafted using the distinctive leather craft of Jawaja, Rajasthan. Practised for over 300 years and revived in the 1970s through a collaborative initiative by IIM and NID, the craft received its GI tag in 2023. Instead of thread, Jawaja artisans weave and stitch together strips of leather, creating the distinctive diamond-shaped pattern that gives each piece its unique character.
